Selecting the Single Handle configuration
Start with the item weight, shape, surface condition and available attachment position. The standard Single Handle uses a 50 mm simplex webbing belt strap that is 900 mm long. Check that the strap can be placed and controlled without contacting sharp edges, hot surfaces or contamination that could affect the webbing. If the load needs two operators or more strap length around a tubular, compare the Lift Assist Double Handle. Valve-specific work may call for the Lift Assist Choke Valve Sling.

Planning a manual-handling task
Identify the route, destination and final hand position before attaching the unit. Confirm the item is stable, within the approved manual-handling limit and free from an uncontrolled energy source. Position the strap according to the current Safe Use Instruction Sheet, keep the item controlled and use coordinated commands if more than one person or more than one Lift Assist is involved. A pair of units does not automatically change the rated capacity of either unit.
Safety and use limitations
- This product is for manual handling only.
- Never connect it to a crane, hoist, tugger, forklift or any mechanical lifting or rigging system.
- Do not exceed the 75 kg manufacturer working load limit.
- Inspect the handle, stitching and webbing before use and remove damaged equipment from service.
- Protect the strap from sharp edges, heat, chemicals and surfaces that could cut or degrade it.
- Follow the current Safe Use Instruction Sheet, site procedure and required personal protective equipment.

Can the Single Handle be used with a crane?
